WILLIS, Texas – A deadly crash is under investigation in Montgomery County Saturday afternoon.
According to the State Troopers, it happened just after 12:30 p.m.
Investigators said a 16-year-old boy was driving a Dodge 3500 pickup east on FM 2432 just east of Willis when for some reason, he crossed the center line. The truck ended up hitting a Suzuki SUV head-on.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead on the scene, troopers said. The 16-year-old driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
FM 2432 did not reopen until about 5 p.m.
