HOUSTON—A driver died after crashing into the freeway wall along the 610 feeder early Saturday morning.
Around 1:15 a.m., a truck was traveling west on the 610 feeder at Irvington when the driver crashed into the wall at a high rate of speed, according to police.
The victim, Rafael Jimenez, 49, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the driver wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and slammed his head into the dashboard, causing massive head trauma.
No other people or vehicles were involved in the accident.
