HOUSTON – A man died early Monday after his car slammed into a brick wall while exiting the Eastex Freeway, police said.
According to the Houston Police Department, the accident happened just before 3 a.m. near the exit for Jensen/Parker.
Investigators believe the man took the exit too fast, and he lost control. His car slammed into a wall surrounding a dumpster.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The exit and southbound frontage road lanes were closed for a few hours while HPD investigated.
