HOUSTON—A driver was arrested after leading police on a chase which ended in northeast Harris County early Sunday, according to Houston police.
An HPD unit pulled over a truck for running a red light on Little York near Airline around 12:45 a.m.  When the officer asked to see a driver’s license, the driver sped off north on Airline.
The driver led police on a chase, running red lights and weaving in and out of several streets, including Gulf Bank, Aldine Bender and Old Humble. He eventually stopped on Atascocita Road.
Police said the driver had no outstanding warrants and did not know why he fled, but noted he did throw something out of the window during the chase.
The driver was arrested and charged with felony evading. More charges are possible.
No one was injured during the chase.
