CYPRESS, Texas – Deputies with Harris County Constable Pct. 4 surrounded the Zales outlet store in Cypress after reports of a robbery early Wednesday.

It occurred in the 29300 block of Hempstead Road around 9 a.m. as the store opened for business.

Views from Air 11 showed deputies questioning possible witnesses outside the jewelry store, which was blocked off with police tape.

There were unconfirmed reports that workers were tied up in the store during the robbery.

The van used in the robbery was later found abandoned behind an HEB store not far away, but the suspects were not located.
