SPLENDORA, Texas – Montgomery County deputies investigating a suspected cocaine-trafficking and money-laundering operation seized $1M in cash during a series of raids Friday morning, investigators said.

At 7 a.m., special investigators executed three search warrants at homes in Splendora and Harris County.

During the raids, investigators seized approximately $1M in cash, several lots, five vehicles and two homes in the 16000 block of Oaklawn in Splendora. The estimated value of the seized property was $1.4 million, investigators said.

Deputies also reportedly found several ledgers containing coded records describing millions of dollars in suspected cocaine sales, a number of laptops and other documents associated with the trafficking of cocaine and money-laundering.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation was ongoing Friday, and arrests are expected.
