HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -– Deputies said a man walked into traffic on Highway 6 in northwest Harris County and was fatally struck by two vehicles.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were called to Highway 6 at Kieth Harrow Boulevard around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses said a man crossing the highway was struck by a pickup truck and then run over by a Ford Mustang, which dragged him. He was sent to the hospital where he later died.

Witnesses told deputies the man appeared to be intoxicated, and he possibly was living at a nearby extended stay motel.

No charges were filed against the drivers involved as both had a green light and stayed at the scene for the investigation.
