HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Deputies said an early morning crash involving a Mini Cooper happened right in front of the driver’s Harris County home.
It was just before 4 a.m. Monday the small car was traveling eastbound on Gulf Bank when the driver attempted to pull into his driveway near the Hardy Toll Road, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said the driver lost control and hit a concrete barricade. He was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
Deputies said the driver put the barricade in front of his home to protect his property. It wasn’t immediately determined what caused him to wreck.
