CORRIGAN, Texas – The Polk County Sheriff’s Office arrested a San Jacinto County fire chief Saturday on accusations of solicitation of a minor.
Deputies said officers arrested Allen Marcotte about 3:30 a.m. at the Americare EMS Station, where he volunteers.
According to authorities, a 16-year-old girl said Marcotte obtained her cell phone number from her Facebook page and continued to send obscene text messages. Marcotte also tried convincing her on numerous occasions to meet him for sexual purposes.
He was being held at the Polk County Jail.
