HOUSTON – Two brothers were robbed early Sunday morning after bringing two women home from a Houston-area strip club.
It happened in the 4000 block of Westermill, near Crested Green, around 4:30 a.m.
Hawah Fahnbulleh, who lives nearby, said she woke up to someone banging on her door.
When she answered, she saw her neighbor, covered in blood, asking for help.
"I jumped up out of my sleep and I came and said, ‘Who is it?’ And he said, ‘Call the ambulance,’" Fahnbulleh said.
After she made the call, Fahnbulleh said she ran next door and realized the younger of the two brothers had been shot.
"I kept trying to do CPR. His brother was trying to keep him up and breathing," she said.
Fahnbulleh said in his panic, the elder brother mentioned that he’d taken the injured man to a strip club that night, and that they’d brought two ladies home with them, only to be tricked and robbed.
"He was panicking very hard. You could tell he was in a lot of pain with worry," Fahnbulleh said.
According to Harris County deputies, the younger brother was coaxed outside by one of the women. Once they got out the door, a gunman forced them back inside, robbing both brothers.
At some point during the robbery, the younger brother was shot in the upper body.
Deputies said the women fled the scene with the gunman in a Chevy Malibu, and that’s when the elder brother ran to Fahnbulleh’s house for help.
Fahnbulleh said the elder brother came back by later, thanking her and saying his brother is expected to survive.
