HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- An ambulance with Cypress Creek EMS collided with two other vehicles at a northwest Harris County intersection overnight.
It happened on Spring Cypress at Champion Forest.
Witnesses said the ambulance ran a red light, hit two other vehicles, and then caught fire.
The ambulance had a patient in the back but was not operating its lights or sirens, according to witnesses.
The patient in the ambulance was picked up by another emergency vehicle and taken to the hospital. Everyone else had minor injuries.
There’s no word on if the ambulance driver was ticketed.
