Video taken moments after the crash shows the chaos, including students being put on backboards.

"I was scared, like I was going to lose my life." said 16-year-old Phillip Jones, a victim.

Jones feared the worse. He was one of the 17 children on the bus. His friend was sitting nearby.

"We were just cracking jokes and from nowhere, a car just came hit and we all had to evacuate" said Christopher McClendon.

Right after the crash the kids sitting in the back of the bus ran to the front and onto the field.

"The fire department told us to get back because they thought the bus was going to explode." said Jones.

Jones had some back pain. He said three of friends were taken to the hospital.

"I went to the hospital to get checked out and an x-ray for my back." said Jones.

Video also shows a group of good Samaritans rushing into help the SUV driver as the fire began.

"There was a big ol' boom. boom noise," said Jones.

The driver of the SUV was in a rental car. He suffered minor injuries. Jones, is already back at school. He's happy he didn't miss his biology test. He plans to graduate and play in the N-B-A.

"I wanted to get educated. I’m thankful that I’m alive. and standing here today." said Jones.

It's unclear if the driver of the SUV will face any charges. Police are still trying to figure out who was at fault.
