HOUSTON –- Houston police responded a restaurant break-in on the west side of town early Thursday.
It was reported at the El Rancho Mexican Restaurant on the Katy Freeway near Barker Cypress Road, according to Houston police.
Officers said an alarm went off around 5 a.m., but the crooks were already gone when police arrived at the scene.
A manager arrived and looked over the restaurant. He said things were moved around in the office, but it didn’t look like anything was missing. The store's front door was shattered.
Surveillance cameras may have captured the suspects on camera.
