HOUSTON -- The cost of driving on some Harris County toll roads is going up this fall.
Starting Sept. 7, the EZ TAG rate for two-axle vehicles will increase by 5 cents to a $1.45 at main-lane toll plazas on the Sam Houston, Westpark and Hardy toll roads.
The cash rate will stay the same, and there is no change for larger vehicles.
Entrance and exit ramps with a $1 toll will go up to $1.15 for those with an EZ TAG. It goes up to $1.25 if you pay cash.
Tolls on the Katy Freeway’s managed lanes will also increase by up to $2 for a full trip during peak hours.
