HOUSTON—Authorities in Fort Bend County believe a second driveway robber may be targeting people in Sugar Land.

Police say the thief struck Wednesday night in the 1100 block of Oak Glen Lane. They say the crook hit a man in the face with the butt of his handgun.

The day before, an individual robbed Sugar Land’s mayor at gunpoint in the driveway of his home on Hodges Bend Circle.

Deputies believe that thief was behind that robbery and another a week earlier on Meadow Lakes Drive.

Authorities released a sketch of the gunman in the first two robberies.

If you have any information on the crimes, you’re urged to call the Fort Bend Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
