HOUSTON – Two more people have died from the West Nile virus in the Houston area, bringing the total to three, the City of Houston Health Department reported Tuesday.
A northeast Houston woman between the ages of 55 and 74 is one of the victims.
The other victim is a southwest Houston man who was between the ages of 55 and 74.
The first death involved a southwest Houston man who was between the ages of 75 and 84.
There have been a total of 13 West Nile Virus cases in the city of Houston.
The West Nile Virus cases in Harris County total six. No deaths have been reported.
