HOUSTON—There is street flooding in some spots in and around the Houston area due to Friday's heavy rainfall.  Here are some problem areas to look out for:

  • Elgin at Travis has high water 
  • Longwood Trace at Vanover in northwest Harris County
  • Cypresswood at Balcrest in northwest Harris County
  • Huffmeister at Whispering Valley in northwest Harris County
