HOUSTON – A man who lives in a fourplex near downtown Houston was not satisfied with the customer service he received from CenterPoint.

Brown said crews came to replace the building's meter on Thursday, but didn't finish so they just left the meter on the ground.
After 24 hours, workers still had not returned.
“It would be nice not to receive the runaround and just have an idea of when they're coming,” Brown said. “I would like to be able to do laundry, I start a new job on Monday.”
After Brown called us, we called CenterPoint.
About an hour later, someone came to reattach the meter, giving everyone in the building gas for at least the weekend.
