Caught on Camera: Cell phone store snatch and grab

HOUSTON -- Houston police and Crime Stoppers are searching for the suspects responsible for a theft at a River Oaks cell phone store.

On Tuesday, December 4, around 1:00 p.m., two suspects entered the cell phone store located on the 2000 block of Westheimer in Houston, according to police. The suspects appeared to be customers examining phones available for display purposes. The suspects then ripped multiple cell phones from the display and ran out of the store through the front door.

Police describe the first suspect as a Hispanic male in his twenties, standing approximately 5’0”-5’10” tall and weighing between 150-170 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, khaki shorts and tennis shoes.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his twenties, standing approximately 5’8”-5’10” tall and weighing between 150-170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, tennis shoes and a dark ball cap.

Surveillance cameras inside of the store captured the suspects and the theft.
