HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A late night crash may have been caused by a driver’s speeding and weaving in and out of traffic, deputies said late Wednesday.
The crash happened on Treaschwig Road at Birnam Wood Boulevard around 9:35 p.m.
Pct. 4 deputies responded to the crash and found a pickup truck had slammed into the back of a car.
Witnesses told deputies the car was speeding and going around cars on the two-lane road. The car veered into the path of the pickup truck, and the two collided. The impact sent the car into the ditch.
Two occupants in the car were sent to the hospital in stable condition. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
