HOUSTON – An overnight crash sent a sedan into a vacant apartment unit in southwest Houston just off Beltway 8.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday on the tollway’s frontage road near Forum Park, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said a woman lost control of her vehicle and hit the apartment building.
The woman was sent to the hospital with head injuries.
The crash knocked a big hole in the wall, causing significant damage. Thankfully, the unit was vacant at the time.
