HOUSTON –- A pedestrian wearing dark clothes was hit by a passing car late Thursday, police said.
The Houston Police Department said a driver was traveling west on Pease and did not see a man crossing the road at Crawford. The man was struck and sent to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Police said the driver, a woman, stayed at the scene. It was unknown if she would face any charges.
Police said the man was crossing at an unprotected intersection.
