HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A car traveling at a high rate of speed lost control in a west Harris County neighborhood late Sunday, slamming into a home.
The crash, possibly caused by a medical emergency, happened around 11 p.m. on Rock Canyon Drive near Western Hills Drive.
The driver appeared to have lost control and clipped a curb, sending the vehicle through a front lawn. The car came to a stop after slamming through a brick wall and into a living room.
No injuries were reported inside the home, but the driver’s condition was unknown.
“I’m just amazed,” said one neighbor. “I don’t know how that happened. I guess they were just going too fast.”
Some neighbors said the man suffered a seizure, causing the accident.
