HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- Two people were injured early Monday when the Ford Mustang they were traveling in flew into a bayou on the north side of town.
The crash happened on Lillja Road at Hollyvale Road shortly before 3 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies said the driver, a man, failed to take a curve in the road, causing the crash. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, and he flew through the windshield of the car. He was sent to the hospital but was expected to survive.
A female passenger suffered only minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
