HOUSTON –- Police arrived at a north Houston hardware store to the sound of an alarm early Wednesday, but the burglars were nowhere to be found.
It was around 4:15 a.m. when the Houston Police Department received a burglary call at Harbor Freight Tools on the North Freeway at W. Dyna.
Officers arrived to find the front door to the store open and a new dolly out front. The store’s audible alarm was still sounding loudly.
HPD said it appeared someone broke into the store and used a new dolly to steal something before taking off. It wasn’t immediately determined what was taken from the property.
