HOUSTON – Police said a burglar dressed like a ninja made off with hydrocodone after breaking through the roof of a Walgreens in southwest Houston.

Police said a hole was made in the roof of the store on Woodway near Chimney Rock around 4 a.m. Friday.

The suspect stole drugs and then fled the scene before officers arrived.

Investigators with the Houston Police Department reviewed surveillance video of the crime and said the suspect was “very methodical and professional.”

The video showed the suspect, covered head-to-toe in black, lowering down into the store with a rope. He or she then climbed back out using shelves along the wall.
