HOUSTON – A historic downtown Houston restaurant destroyed by a fire during Hurricane Ike is set to reopen for business.
Brennan’s of Houston is scheduled to reopen next Tuesday on Mardi Gras. The owners said they were able to salvage some items, like the front door.
Brennan's opened in downtown Houston more than 40 years ago and was constantly rated as one of the best eateries in the city.
The owners said there is already a waiting list for reservations.
