HARRIS COUNTY, Texas –- Three women were sent to the hospital following a crash that destroyed several brand new vehicles at a northside car dealership.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday at Tom Peacock Cadillac along the North Freeway near Richey Road.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said a driver in an SUV struck a smaller sedan from behind on the frontage road. The SUV then plowed into the dealership where it caught fire.

The fire burned five brand new Cadillacs and damaged several others, causing at least $500,000 in damage.
