Distinctively tattooed man’s body found floating in Buffalo Bayou near downtown

A body was recovered from Buffalo Bayou Monday morning near downtown. Someone spotted the body floating in the water at North York near Lemke.

HOUSTON – A man’s body was recovered from Buffalo Bayou Monday morning near downtown.

Someone spotted the body floating in the water at 800 North York near Lemke around 10:10 a.m.

HPD put a boat in the water to retrieve the body.

Investigators said the man is Caucasian and had injuries to both eyes, along with minor abrasions to his face.  He had several unique tattoos including one of the Grim Reaper on his upper left arm, a Viking with an axe and shield on his upper right arm and a German eagle crest on his chest.
