MISSOURI CITY—Missouri City police need your help catching a ‘bad Santa’ that robbed a Chase bank on Christmas Eve.
Around 2:14 p.m., a suspect wearing a makeshift Santa disguise entered the bank located in the 5600 block of Highway 6, according to police.
Surveillance video captured the suspect wearing a Santa hat, red-tinted jacket, sunglasses and red gloves.
Police said the suspect approached the teller, claimed to have a weapon and demanded money. There were four other tellers, a bank manager and several customers in the bank at the time of the offense, but none were aware of what was happening.
The teller complied and the suspect then walked quietly away.
Police said he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash to fill up his personal Christmas stocking.
