HARRIS COUNTY -- Three restaurants were violently robbed in less than two hours in northwest Harris County Monday night and deputies really want to find the robbers involved.
It's not clear if the same suspect robbed all three places, but they all happened on Monday night between 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m.
First, the Subway at 850 FM 1960 West was hit. Then, it was the Whataburger at 12663 Veterans Memorial Drive. Finally, the Wing Stop at 12100 Veterans Memorial was robbed.
Wing Stop showed KHOU 11 News surveillance video of the robbers coming into the restaurant.
An employee named Maria watched it all happen.
"I was standing behind the beer cooler and I seen them come in," Maria said. "He pointed to gun to my head, made me get up and open the register.
While one suspect was cleaning out the register, the other was ordering customers to get on the floor and empty their pockets.
"The guy in the dining area took all of the customer’s belongings except this girl,” Maria recalled. "She had a purse and they didn't even bother going through it.”
Maria said while the robbery was going on she could only think about her 10-month-old at home.
"I could care less about what happens to this place," she said. "I'm worried about me and the people in here. I would rather lose money than my life over something stupid."
