HOUSTON – A 32-year-old Houston man is accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl that his wife was babysitting.
Charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child by contact were filed against Francisco Hernandez on July 27, 2012.
According to court documents, the victim was at the babysitter’s home, playing with the babysitter’s daughter on January 14, 2012, when Hernandez initially assaulted her.
She said it happened again on April 14, 2012, when she was at the babysitter’s house, watching TV.
In both incidents, the girl said the babysitter was in another room.
After the April incident, the victim told her mother, who confronted Hernandez and the babysitter.
The mother said Hernandez denied assaulting the little girl, instead saying he might have touched her inappropriately by accident when he tried to move her as she was sleeping.
The mother took the girl in for a sexual-assault exam, which verified her assault claim, investigators said.
