HOUSTON— Two adults were injured Wednesday in a wreck involving a day care van in northwest Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The All Star Day Care and Preschool van driver was westbound on Parramatta when a driver in a sedan collided head-on at about 2:08 p.m., investigators said.

The driver and passenger in the day care van were transported by EMS to an area hospital. Deputies said no children were injured. A witness told KHOU 11 News that four children were treated at the scene.

The children were loaded onto another van and taken back to the school. The day care employees said the adults who were transported to the hospital have non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the sedan said he was having tire problems as he came to the bend in the road and crossed into the other lane. Deputies said he will be given a citation for failure to drive in a single lane of traffic.
