HOUSTON—Multiple law enforcement agencies joined together late Tuesday to bust an illegal gambling operation in southeast Houston.
The FBI and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, with the backup of the Houston Police Department, raided a gambling front located in the 12500 block of Gulf Freeway at Fuqua.
It was located in a shopping center, but had no name on the front of the business.
Harris County Sheriff’s undercover agents had investigated the business for some time before making their move around 10:30 p.m.
The violators were loaded into police cars and onto a bus. Authorities would not say how much money or other goods were recovered.
