HOUSTON—At least four people were hurt when an electric passenger cart ran into a crowd at Bush Intercontinental Airport Thursday.
It happened around 1 p.m. in Terminal B.
Officials said the passenger cart was headed through the terminal when the driver stopped to unload a bag.
When he exited the cart, another bag fell on the accelerator and the driver-less cart took off, crashing into a group of four people.
They were transported to area hospitals.
The extent of their injuries was not known.
Several Houston fire trucks and ambulances responded to the scene.
The electric carts at the airport are operated by Prime Flight.
