HOUSTON—Armed robbers tried to hold up a Subway sandwich shop in Baytown Saturday morning, but the crime didn’t go as planned.
The store on Garth Road was about to open when the three suspects, wearing masks, barged in.
The manager, who had her young daughter with her, saw the men and ran.
The suspects ran as well, ending up about four blocks away from the store, where police arrested them.
Officers found a gun in the getaway car. Charges are currently pending.
