ROSENBERG, Texas – Authorities say an armed robber terrorized employees at a shoe store Sunday afternoon in Fort Bend County.
The Rosenberg Police Department said that the robbery happened just before 3 p.m. at a discount shoe store located in the 5100 block of Avenue H. The armed suspect pointed a gun in the face of the store clerk as he demanded money.
Police said he was last seen simply walking away down Wilson Road. Surveillance photos show him wearing a burnt orange, Texas Longhorns hoodie and some sort of mask.
This is not the first the first time that the store has been robbed. Police said the store was held up back in January. Surveillance video from the robbery shows an armed man pointing a gun at the clerk in the same fashion as Sunday’s robbery.
So far, no one has been arrested for the earlier holdup, and authorities are saying that they might be dealing with the same man.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
