HOUUSTON –- Two men who police said may have been planning a home invasion in Pasadena were arrested following a lengthy chase early Tuesday.

A third man remained on the run, however.

Officers with the Pasadena Police Department said they were called to a neighborhood off of Spencer Highway around 1 a.m. Residents on Holly Park Drive said a group of men in a pickup truck were knocking on doors with a gun.

Officers caught up with the men, who allegedly refused to stop and went north on Beltway 8 all the way to Lake Houston Parkway in northeast Houston. The chase came to an end on E. Mount Houston after the men crashed into a ditch.

One suspect was caught immediately while another one was arrested following a search with the assistance of Houston police. A third man got away, however.

Pasadena police said the pickup truck was reported stolen.
