HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Three witnesses were questioned early Thursday following the fatal stabbing of a man outside an east Harris County home, deputies said.
Around 2 a.m. the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 800 block of Steele Road just south of the Highlands community.
Deputies arrived to find a man dead in front of a home.
Witnesses told investigators the victim got into an argument with the suspect in the house, and the fight turned violent in the front yard. One of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other before leaving the scene.
Bystanders called 911, and three witnesses were questioned by investigators.
It’s believed officials have a good idea as to who the suspected killer is, but no further information was released.
