Sheriff's office: 14-year-old Willis girl found safe, suspect in custody

An Amber Alert has been issued for 14-year-old Ashlynn Greco in Montgomery County. Police are looking for 28-year-old Benjamin Wood in connection with her abduction. He is described as 6’2”, 200 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes.

WILLIS, Texas – An Amber Alert was issued for 14-year-old Ashlynn Greco in Montgomery County late Thursday.

It was canceled several hours later after the girl was safely located and a suspect was taken into custody, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said.

Police were looking for 28-year-old Benjamin Wood in connection with her abduction. Wood was last heard from in Willis, Texas.

Law enforcement officials believed Greco was in immediate danger.

The suspect in the case is described as the girl's mother's boyfriend.
