HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A teacher’s aide at Aldine’s 9th grade campus says she’s “living in fear” after a student hit her and was allowed back in class.

Denise Seal said she suffered a pinched nerve last week after the boy punched her in the back. She said Aldine ISD police officers should’ve arrested the boy, and school officials should’ve removed him from class.

“I’m fearful number one because it didn’t warrant that and if a child gets that agitated that they would do something like that ... that’s mind-boggling,” said Seals.

Aldine ISD said the student was disciplined appropriately, but did not disclose the action taken.
