TOMBALL, Texas -- A robbery suspect was arrested on Tuesday after KHOU 11 News aired surveillance video of him attempting to rob a hotel in Tomball.

An anonymous person called the Magnolia Police Department and said they recognized the man shown in the newscast as 25-year-old Jeffery Burge. A home address for Burge was provided to police.

Burge was linked to a string of robberies that occurred in Tomball, Magnolia and Montgomery County.

Burge was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery by the Tomball Police Department.
