HOUSTON – Advocates for immigration reform marched across Texas Saturday including a demonstration in front of City Hall.
Thousands of supports march from City Hall to Hermann Square as part of the National Day of Dignity and Respect mobilizations.
The U.S. Senate did pass comprehensive immigration reform, but Republicans in the House rejected it.
The GOP said it’s more open to a piece-meal approach.
Democrats said they are OK with that as long as it includes a path to citizenship.
