HOUSTON — Across the Track Cook-off Team took home the top honors Saturday at the 2013 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest at Reliant Park.
“It’s incredible; I’m still trying to soak it in,” said Kerry Fellows, owner of Across the Track Cook-off Team. “This is the only cook off we do as a team — Houston is the biggest cook off around.”
Fellows’ team has been a 12-year participant in the annual contest.
Approximately 300 teams cooked up 432 barbecue entries for judging, and after a full weekend of marinating, smoking and grilling, the 2013 winners are:
