HOUSTON – AT&T workers were on high alert after one of their colleagues was robbed at gunpoint in northwest Houston Monday afternoon, according to Houston police.
The technician was working on an outdoor box in the 900 block of Lucky around 12:45 p.m. when he was approached by two men.
Police said both of the men were wearing hoodies and one was armed with a gun. The suspects took the technician’s cell phone and wallet.
The victim said workers had been warned not to carry any credit cards or cash because of a number of robberies involving AT&T technicians.
