Police: 8-year-old dies from injuries after crash in League City

LEAGUE CITY, Texas- An 8-year-old girl died Saturday morning as a result from her injuries following a crash in League City, police said. 

According to the League City Police Department, officers responded to a crash around 5:50 p.m. on April 6 involving three vehicles in the 2600 block of W. Main Street. 

Police said two of the vehicles had stopped in the eastbound lane for traffic when another vehicle rear-ended one of the vehicles. 

A girl, 8, was injured in the crash. She was transported by Memorial Hermann Life Flight to the hospital where she died early Saturday morning. 

No other injuries were reported.
