HOUSTON -– Police investigated a break-in at the Little Buddy convenience store in The Heights early Wednesday morning.

Officers with the Houston Police Department said they were called to the 2300 block of White Oak Drive around 2 a.m. They found the front door of a business broken in, but the suspects who did it were already gone.

A store manager arrived and said it looked like the burglars stole about $7,000 worth of cigarettes. The crooks apparently emptied both of the store’s racks, the manager said.

Officers brought in a K-9 unit, but the suspects weren’t located.

Police hope surveillance cameras captured the crooks on video.
