HOUSTON-- A family tragedy left a community in shock after a mother and her two daughters were found murdered in their southwest Houston home.
Meanwhile, those that knew the mother and her two children are trying to make sense of the horrible tragedy.
Darrian Dorsey knew the family well. His girlfriend, 16-year-old Briana Roberson, was found along with her mother, Triska Rose, and 7-year-old sister Maya Love dead in their home last night. They .
"She was a very good person, lovable, caring. She did any and everything for me," Dorsey said.
A man believed to be the mother's fianc, Garland Harper, has been charged with capital murder.
Police say the suspect lived with the victims at their home, located on the 10500 block of Turtlewood Court.
He appeared in court Saturday afternoon. Investigators say he confessed to the killings.
"I think he should spend more than a minute in jail. Life, if they can give it to him," said Dorsey.
Dorsey says his girlfriend was close to her sister and loved her mom. They were a united family.
But he also said Briana was keeping a secret.
In a surprise, Dorsey said his 16-year-old girlfriend was 3 months pregnant with his child. 11 News called the medical examiners' office and they weren't able to confirm that.
Autopsy results are still pending.
"They was a real good family," Dorsey said.
If the autopsy reports confirm the 16-year-old was indeed pregnant, Harper's charges won't change. He's already facing capital murder. That's the most serious charge he can get.
Harpers next court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
