HOUSTON -- Houston Police are investigating a triple homicide that occurred in southwest Houston.
The bodies of a mother and her two children were found inside a Houston apartment complex late Friday afternoon. All three of them were bound with wire.
According to police, the woman was supposed to drop her children off at a friends house at 6:30 a.m., but never showed up. Police knocked on her door this morning, but even though there was no answer, they didn't notice anything suspicious.
Her co-worker then raised concerns when the woman didn't show up for work at Kids R Kids Daycare.
Friends returned to the woman's apartment around 5:00 p.m. and forced the door open. It was then that they discovered the bodies of Triska Rose and her 15-year-old and 7-year-old daughters.
"Many times a situation like this where the whole family is killed it indicates to me there may be a high passion involved in the crime and what motivates that? You could probably write a book on that," said Sgt. Colin Howard, Houston Police Department.
Police have not arrested anyone, but have said the woman's fiance is a person of interest. He reportedly has a criminal record and was recently released from prison. Police also said that he was at the woman's home last night.
