Massive fire destroys home in SE Houston - mom found safe

Clutter in the yard of a southeast Houston home slowed firefighters’ efforts to stop a massive blaze early Monday morning. The fire broke out shortly after 2:30 a.m. on E. Orem near Foxton. A woman at the scene was concerned about her mom, who was later found safe. Tap here for the full report.

Security guard shot behind San Luis Hotel in Galveston

A security guard was shot behind the popular San Luis Hotel in Galveston overnight. Late Sunday the guard said he spotted three suspicious men in a back parking lot at the hotel, located in the 5200 block of Seawall Boulevard.
